FAQ
Installations
We always recommend thru bolting all Geigertec mounts to a solid surface on your boat with the included hardware. We strongly recommend that you apply anti seize to all stainless on stainless connections to prevent galling. We also recommend applying a marine grade grease between the base and bottom knuckle of the mount to ease in removal of the mount from the boat. MEASURE TWICE DRILL ONCE Please look before you drill to make sure the area on your boat is free from any wires, hoses or other obstructions and is accessible for thru bolting and that the mount is sitting how and where you want it.
Salt Water
All Geigertec Universal Mounts have undergone and passed a 10 year Saltwater Spray test to prove they can hold up in the harshest marine environments. However we do recommend rinsing your mounts when used in salt water to give you years of trouble free use. All Geigertec products recommended for salt water use are constructed of aluminum with an anodized finish and marine grades of stainless steel. We do not recommend products which have been powder coated for saltwater use.
Brands Of Electronics
We do our best to make sure ALL Geigertec Mounts will fit current graphs from all popular manufactures including Humminbird, Garmin and Lowrance as well as non current models. If your gimbal bracket will not fit you can easily drill new holes in your gimbal to match our mounting plate or drill our mounting plate to accept your gimbal.

Returns
All returns must be made within 30 days of receiving products, products must be in new condition to be eligible for returns.
Customer is responsible for return shipping
Customer is responsible for any applicable return duties
A refund will be issued once return has been received and inspected.
Please do not return a product without an RMA number. Unauthorized returns will be returned to sender.
Warranty
All Geigertec Products carry a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
If you would like to submit a warranty claim please email us at info@geigertec.com We will require a picture of the manufacturing defect in question. Once you receive notification an item has been approved for warranty we will ship you the new parts or assembly.
Warranty Does not mean you will receive a new product, we will ship you replacement parts in question once warranty has been approved
Not covered under warranty is any damage caused from abuse, misuse, bad installation, any products attached to Geigertec products which we do not manufacture.
Please DO NOT send products back without authorization, these items will be returned to sender.
Shipping and Delivery
Domestic Shipping (in CANADA)
Shipping shall be payed by the customer at checkout, Geigertec is not responsible for any additional shipping charges, taxes or duties after it leaves our facility, additionally we are not responsible for any lost or damaged products, we do our best to make sure you order is properly packaged and protected, but once it leaves our facility we can no longer be responsible.
International Shipping (UNITED STATES)
We ship all Geigertec products to the United States VIA UPS or United States Postal Service. If you have a preferred Carrier please let us know via email before placing your order.
International Shipping (Worldwide)
We currently ship within CANADA and the UNITED STATES Only.
We will Ship products worldwide but do require a email before purchase info@geigertec.com this allows us to find you the best possible shipping service and avoid problems being delivered on time.
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES (ALL INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS)
Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.
Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Geigertec is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
Carriers
We use Canada Post, United States Postal Service and UPS to ship products domestically and worldwide. We always pick a carrier with our customers best interest in mind, if you have a preferred carrier please contact us at info@geigertec.com BEFORE you place an order and we will do our best to meet your needs
